Hourly Positions

Safely performs layout, installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of 480-3 phase electrical systems including wiring and conduit runs, communication cables, control and coaxial wiring, thermocouples and power distribution systems.

Salary Positions


  • Plans and delegates machine equipment repair assignments under the direction of the Maintenance Supervisor.
  • Orients and trains associates with regard to task completion, quality, safety, the environment, productivity, housekeeping, and general policies and procedures.
  • Communicates with other departments and shifts in order to maintain proper coordination of production.
  • Reviews and analyzes production processes and results and implements corrective action, where necessary.
  • Compiles information for periodic reports with respect to various topics including quality, safety, the environment, productivity and scrap.
  • Reviews associate performance and provides appropriate feedback and counseling under the direction of Maintenance Supervisor and the Team Manager.
  • Operates electrical measuring instruments and testing devices, power and hand tools, welding and fabricating equipment in performing installation, inspection, maintenance, and repair of hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical machinery and equipment.
  • Performs layout installation, inspection, maintenance and repair of electronic and robotic systems and equipment.
  • May perform building trades such as carpentry, plumbing, and sheet metal fabrication in the installation, water, sanitary and safety/security equipment and systems.


  1. High school diploma (or equivalent) is required --- 6 months relevant vocational training preferred.
  2. Working knowledge of 440 or 480 three-phase electrical/electronic systems, electronics/robotics, mechanical, hydraulic,pneumatic equipment and systems, carpentry, HVAC and welding is required
  3. Operational knowledge of precision measuring instruments, gauges, test equipment, and blueprint reading is required.
  4. Working knowledge of plumbing and sheet metal fabrication is preferred.

  • Creates detailed specifications and design of control systems as part of machinery/equipment purchases and capital improvement projects.Ensures conformance with basic engineering and design principles.
  • Assists in setting scientific and technical goals within broad outlines provided by the management.Conducts research to confirm the feasibility, design, operation, and performance of equipment based on proposed controls.
  • Regularly uses computer-aided drafting/design tools to produce layouts or drawings as needed.
  • Assists in sourcing and negotiating contracts with suppliers and contractors to perform various aspects of projects.Interprets and explains plans and contract terms for contractors, sub-contractors, administrative staff, workers, etc.
  • Prepares detailed project budgets, schedules, and documentation.Breaks project into logical steps and allocates sufficient time to meet deadlines.
  • Ensures that all aspects of projects comply with relevant Company policies/procedures, building codes, safety rules/regulations, etc.Obtains necessary permits and licenses.
  • Monitors project milestones and creates periodic project reports.Anticipates potential bottlenecks and implements contingency plans to overcome issues, such as contractor delays, bad weather, cost over-runs, emergencies, etc.
  • Coordinates activities of external/internal personnel to perform installation, operation, testing, run-off, maintenance, and repair of equipment, components, and systems related to the project.
  • Reviews, inspects, and debugs control systems to confirm that equipment, components, and systems are functioning properly and can be released to production.  Provides on-going support for existing control systems.
  • Analyzes existing control systems and implements modifications, as needed to improve equipment function, reduce cost, etc.
  • Provides technical assistance to project engineers and process engineers.  Provides assistance to maintenance personnel for troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of control systems.      


  • Bachelors’ degree in Engineering or equivalent is required.
  • At least two (2) years of related controls engineering experience is required--preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment is required.
  • Working knowledge of the following is also required:
  • Various programmable logic controllers (Allen-Bradley, Hitachi, etc.)
  • HMI’s (Allen-Bradley Panelview and Panelview+ and Proface, etc.)
  • AC drives (Allen-Bradley, SEW, etc.)
  • Fanuc robots and vision systems
  • Industrial networks (DeviceNet, Ethernet, etc.)
  • Ability to read/interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports
  • Working knowledge and use of Microsoft Project software and computer-aided drafting/design tools is strongly preferred.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail are required to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.  Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and written/verbal communication skills are required.

Oversees and supports recruiting, selection, orientation, and training for the hourly workforce.  Maintains activities and programs that support positive associate relations and retention.  Supports effective utilization of the HRIS system and other associate relations activities and programs.     


  • Oversees the work of Associate Relations Specialists and supports recruiting, selection, orientation, and training for the hourly workforce.
  • Collaborates with department and shift supervisors to ensure effective performance feedback and counseling, and promote continuous performance improvement.
  • Maintains a personal presence in manufacturing areas in order to understand manufacturing jobs and potential associate issues, to ensure others’ understanding of policies/procedures, and to support positive associate relations and retention.
  • Utilizes associate surveys, personal observations, and actual performance results to assess the effectiveness of orientation and training for new hires and department transfers and collaborates with Associate Relations staff and others to develop and implement improvements.
  • Coordinates with HRIS vendor for system updates, changes, and for training of others.
  • Supports safety/environmental programs, wage administration, fringe benefit programs, associate events and activities, and positive community relations.


  • Five or more years of human resource generalist experience and three plus years of supervisory experience are required--preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
  • Related Bachelor degree, or equivalent, is strongly preferred
  • Demonstrated skill/knowledge using HRIS systems for recordkeeping, data analysis, report writing, etc. is required

Supports the design, development, testing, assessment, and continuous improvement of machinery, equipment, tooling, production processes and systems to meet or exceed objectives for safety, product quality, productivity, and cost efficiency.   Collaborates with production management, quality assurance, safety/environmental, product development, and other personnel to achieve customer satisfaction and Company objectives.

  • Supports the design, development, testing, assessment, and continuous improvement of machinery, equipment, tooling, production processes and operating parameters for low pressure, permanent mold aluminum die casting.
  • Collects and analyzes data from trials, tests and actual production.Develops and implements actions as necessary to achieve targets for:a) first-time-through (FTT) and production yield; b) machine utilization and efficiency; and c) cost control.
  • Promotes use of structured problem-solving tools, such as failure mode and effects analyses (FMEA), design of experiments (DOE), and root cause analysis (RCAR) to improve production processes/methods, reduce scrap/rework, and improve efficiency/output.
  • Evaluates new product specifications, customer requirements, and results of production trials/tests and supports Advance Product Quality Planning (APQP) & Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) to help ensure effective/timely launch of new products.
  • Anticipates future engineering/production issues and leads ongoing investigation of industry ‘best practices’ that might be useful to help resolve these issues.


  • At least five (5) years of progressive and related manufacturing/process engineering experience is required--including basic metallurgy, high-volume low-pressure/permanent mold aluminum die casting.Working knowledge of typical casting defects and ‘appearance’ standards, as well as cost reduction initiatives is strongly preferred.
  • Must have well-developed computer knowledge/skills (e.g., MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, etc.)
  • Experience should also include:  a) Failure Mode & Effects Analysis (FMEA); b) Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP); c) Production Part Approval Process (PPAP); and d) ISO/TS 16949 standards for quality management systems.
  • Exposure to the following is preferred:  a) Statistical Process Control (SPC); b) Root Cause Analysis; c) 5 Whys’; d) Design of Experiments (DOE); e) Gauging and inspection processes; and f) blueprint reading and geometric dimensioning/tolerancing.
  • Related Associate degree, or equivalent, is required; Bachelor degree is preferred.
Salary Positions

Plans, organizes, and directs the overall preventative maintenance program for production machinery and equipment.  Compiles and reviews various reports, logs, charts, corrective action lists, etc. to identify and prioritize maintenance and repair assignments to resolve production equipment issues.  Develops standard operating procedures and maintains maintenance records for production equipment, including downtime, repair costs, spare parts, reliability studies, and ‘mean time before failure’ (MTBF) analysis.  Prepares budgets for supplies, spare parts, staffing, and contracted services.Assists in preparation of capital expense budgeting and generates continuous improvement and cost reductions ideas.  Communicates with other production departments and shifts in order to maximize work order completion and machine up-time.Performs root cause analysis in determining cause of equipment breakdown.  Reviews associate performance and provide appropriate feedback and counseling for continuous improvement.

  • At least five (5) years of related maintenance and machine repair experience and three (3) years of supervisory experience--preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment--are required.
